When/If is Leaving Substack

You may or may not have heard about some of the bad practices Substack engages in. In short, they court anti-trans and other bigoted writers, pay them, and offer a platform for other likewise horrendous opinions. It’s important that I walk the walk, and severing ties with a company that provides any kind of support for anti-trans and fashy trash is a step in the right direction.

In the near future you’ll receive the next When/If email from a new service (likely Ghost). I’m not quite sure how soon that will be, but hopefully not longer than a couple weeks (with a little time off for my birthday).

Subscriptions both free and paid will be terminated here, so you don’t need to worry about recurring charges for something that no longer exists. Free subscriptions have been migrated already, but paid subscriptions will need to be re-upped. Ghost uses the same service, Stripe, so there won’t be any hiccups there.
